Get ready for a great weekend in joining with other Brethren Churches from our West Region in Tucson. It's our second regional gathering and we're going to have a great weekend of fun activities and events all geared towards getting to know each other and celebrating. We'll cap off the weekend with a joint worship service at Summit Ridge followed by a great meal, games and activities for all ages! Here's a draft schedule of our activities for this weekend. The Latest at Summit Ridge
Dietrich Bonhoeffer wrote, "The Church is the Church only when it exists for others...not dominating, but helping and serving. It must tell men of every calling what it means to live for Christ, to exist for others." This leads to some questions such as, How does God build his body-the church? What are the essential building blocks that are necessary for a church to be a church? We will explore these questions through the lens of the Book of Colossians, and in doing so discover what makes a church church worthy of being called a church.
Wholistic Transformation's vision is to create vibrant relational communities for those aging out of foster care where they are engaged in experiences which result in wholistic health by providing a path for each person to mature and grow in their own dignity and worth, and their relationship with God and others.
