Peanut Butter Party Food Drive!
WHAT
A month-long food drive focused on the best thing to put between sliced bread: PEANUT BUTTER!
The goal is to collect 10,000 jars of peanut butter. Faith communities and other groups can raise the stakes by entering the competition to see which organization brings in the most jars total and the most jars per capita.
WHEN
The entire month of July. The competition begins Monday, July 1 and ends Thursday, August 1. Donations after that date will be gratefully accepted, but will not count toward the competition.
WHERE
Drop off your jars of peanut butter on Sunday morning in the Welcome Center.
WHY
The Peanut Butter Party Food Drive addresses a consistent need for shelf-stable, easily distributed food items. Every family and individual that visits one of our food banks leaves with a jar of peanut butter.
